Skypark

Everyone in Scotts Valley knows about Skypark. This large complex is home to most of the community’s events, from live music concerts and chess tournaments to festivals, fireworks, and sports games. The park is filled with activities and spaces for Scotts Valley residents to enjoy, including a tennis court, walking trail, soccer field, dog park, skate park, children’s play area, and a pump track.

Scotts Valley Farmer’s Market

Since 2009, Scotts Valley has hosted a great seasonal farmer’s market, bringing produce and baked goods from over 30 growers and food artisans to the community. Here, eager shoppers can find fresh vegetables, fruits, pasture-raised eggs and meats, sustainably-caught seafood, and plenty of baked goods and made-to-order meals. There’s enough variety here to complete a full grocery trip, and there’s even a full coffee and espresso bar to fuel early morning visits! If you get there around 10am, you’ll be able to enjoy live music from local musicians.

Scotts Valley Art, Wine & Beer Festival

The Art, Wine & Beer Festival is a community favorite in Scotts Valley. Hosted in the Skypark, this event gives visitors the chance to sample many wines and beers from local breweries and wineries. There’s also live music, tons of food, a car show, a dog show, and an expansive art exhibit. You can see what Santa Cruz County artists are up to by touring photography, painting, ceramics, jewelry, and sculpture displays across the park while you enjoy the festivities.
